oh that synth sounds cool was my first though... oooh that beat... then my head nods... that dark RDJ_NIN bass kicks in.. I had to turn da keyboard on and listen 3 times in a row cuz damn this is gooooood and so catchy.  The chord progression with the beat oh yais.

Such a cool track! Super catchy, and once the main beat drops in, it's just constant stank face and bouncing to the song. Probably one of my favorites of 2024!

The title reminded me of an RHCP song ("Desecration Smile"), haha, so I didn't know what to expect. Overall, it felt like I was witnessing a mad scientist making a laidback beat during his break hours. Super fun and creative sample choices. I like it smile

wait did you for real listen 3 times in a row?  that is like the biggest compliment.  i have been listening to it constantly for the past 2 days on repeat, was wondering if it's boring for anyone else.  i might want to add something in the 3rd act (very subtle) for an album version.

that means so much to me, thank you for listening!!!  i wasn't sure if it was boring or not - I appreciate the confirmation

wait did you just comment while I was responding to other comments?!  amazing!  I haven't heard that RHCP track!  thanks for checking this out, I'm glad you found it creative - I felt like it was a really weird mix of disparate elements/feelings

I just love when the beats are wonky like this! It makes for a very groovy pocket!
Amazing!

Digging the dark bass and grimy distortion. This is quite a menacing yet cool beat!

So good! The bass got my attention, but the loose percussion kept it. You can't not move some part of your body to this.

I love that loose beat! The groove itself has a good repetitive groove to it, and could be a little trance-y…but the fact that the beat isn’t snapped to the grid kept my brain on alert. Fun and different!

did i listen 3 times.. probably way more than that tbh... but "you've got mail"

Sick beat and some really nice filthy textures.  I love how both you and Frank give us the staredown.

What if we were never allowed to hear this song. This beat is definitely a classified government secret.
- Devieus

It's great how unreasonably huge the opening beat is―which definitely complements the uberdark sound design of the bass and chorus.  I also dig how the massively weighted swing in the high percs keep everything grooving along without needing to dip into the ol' EDM <boom>+<tiss> well―they don't even need the kicks for a while!

WHAT DID YOU SEE??
WAS IT US??

OMG DOUBLE STAREDOWN ALL THE WAY

#RADTRACK

This was FANTASTIC. The tension and buildup is RELENTLESS. Congrats, the song actually made me feel like I witnessed something I shouldn't have and now I don't know what to do.
Also, those stares, OMG... Hahahahaha. Amazing work all around.

watched/ listened again with emily this evening and it hit different when i was paying closer attention. wow, chilling and inspiring. thank you.
love to both of you

LOL Frank at the end

This has a Hotline Miami vibe to it kind of. Obviously not the synthwave aspect of Hotline Miami but more like the electro-psychedelic ambient drone stuff, which is also big mood but less talked about. I dig.

Love everything about this one, that opening bass just grabs you and then that lurching beat is so dope, then that dirty synth just asks "you want to go some place dark?"  Best part of the video is at 2:30, it's like staring at the Madvillainy album cover.
