Decided to try my hand with some imagery like some other titles I've seen around on WB 
This is an instrumental I finished that I ran out of time before any vocals stuck with. Fortunately, I'm really happy how the beat turned out!

The beat's just fine all its own, the lead's doing a great job carrying it.
The delay rolling off that upper melody slathers everything in just the right amount of ambiance while that beat breathes throughout, really dig it.

Took a lot of carving away at the beat, I don't think I've ever programmed a better drums arrangement before

Thanks! It had a really nice timbre and I tried to vary it up a lot. If I had time I would have like to try applying some vibrato

Thank you! I'm glad somebody pointed out the bassline. I just listened to Lithium Flower the other day and had to do a little melodic bass, even if it's got nothing on the Yoko Kanno line.
