... of the random m8 song title generator variety, not the strange device made by Soma Labs. Although I do want everything Soma makes.

This one was tight! Fun to arrange, I think the sounds are great, and I believe I have finally achieved transparent drums, in that they're there, they're holding up the track, but you don't really "notice" them. Lots of acid as usual but more towards a progressive-trance vibe I think, if my EDM music history is accurate.

Next week might be a big shift - gonna try to two-birds-one-stone for something else and execute my track in my DAW. It'll sound different by sheer nature of production but it's gonna be dripping with acid.

hell of a journey, really nicely built  heart

Most people would duck the drums, but I really like what you did to not do that, or make it seem like you didn't, very organic

transparent drums is such a dope concept and a great description of this track. The acid is a delight. enjoyed this a lot! favorited and downloaded

Those claps and pulsing kick are all what is needed as "drums"!

I like the sound palette there too, descending chord progression has a cinematic vibe. Well played.

I'm rather confused by instruments that SOMA produces, in this sense I'm a traditionalist, I guess?

The track is some well executed acidic techno. The sounds are lush and the motion is steady, which makes this a surprisingly calming listen. My highlight is the squealing siren, it's the sort of sound effect that completes the scene that I often don't think to add.

I love that stuttery synth sound that comes in around 1:01... great sound.  This tracks is such a perfect like up tempo focus track.  I feel like it would have been perfect score for a particularly challenging Mirror's Edge level or some such.  High energy Zen  ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

Agreed, mission accomplished on the drums! Just "there" enough but my attention is drawn to the other elements. Easy to just sit back and groove as a listener, lots of great movement and variety throughout.

Great ride - I'm in it. Propelling to the beyond. Yes.
I'd like to play with Soma gear too, especially that newer synth with the wood body.
