WICKED PROBLEMS

By naught101 on October 27, 2024 11:49 am

You know what sucks? Gastro.
You know what fucking bangs? The m8.

This is what happens after I lie on a couch all day feeling sorry for myself, and then finally spend a few hours on the m8. Jungle that I'm very, very happy with. Good way to end an unpleasant day.

Grooving to the beats, enjoying the soundscapes!

This is so chill, it'll cure most diseases, as long it's used as a supplement.

Really strong beats. The delayed sound makes me think of a Mario powerup big_smile. I like the vibes.

Uuuughhh... Sorry to hear you're dealing with gastro issues. Earlier this year, my wife was dealing with constant acid reflux and heartburn. Hope you're already on the mend from that nonsense!
These are some REEEEEEALLY tasty basses, this sounds awesome!!!! That, paired with the plucky synths is just perfect. Super nice job!

ahh bummer about the gastro issues. I have crohn's, so can def relate.
track is so nice, may it calm those guts!

Thanks errybody! Glad you liked it ☺️

Love the dnb vibe. I think I really need to send it on an m8. I can’t comprehend how everyone is cooking at this level on a gameboy

For sure, you do. The fact that it's got a high-quality sampler in it means that it's effectively limitless. The modal interface takes a few hours to get used to, but after that it's way faster than anything I can do on a computer, and way more enjoyable, especially with e.g. params/FX tweaking. The lack of visuals makes it a bit easier to focus on the sound too, I think. The main thing is it's just fun.

Since starting WB, I basically never start a project that I don't finish now. Not sure how much that's the m8, and how much is WB, but it's a very good combo.
