First track of the year! Going to try to upload often, but likely won't be able to keep up with it every week. Also hoping to collaborate with my brother (paperthinphil) for some tracks! Pumped for another year!

For this track, I was thinking about the countdown to the start of WB26 and the ensuing count to week 52. This is typical of all my WB24 tracks - not a ton of breaks, lots of repetition. I'll try to break that habit through the year.

Also got overly excited and made a video for this track - I DEFINITELY wont have time to do this every week 😅

Fun track!  The counting parts reminded me of those old Sesame Street segments where they'd count numbers to some sort of 70's music.  Obviously a more modern version, but it gave me the same kind of vibes.

Great textures and build! The vocal sample was the perfect cherry on top, elevated the entire track. Great work!

Love the video to go with it! Cool visuals to go with the great audio

Repetition is fine.
Repetition is fine.
It's a tool.

Lovely rich, dark textures throughout. With this music behind it, the counting is ominous

Definitely some similar vibes haha!

Thanks! I tried to add a bunch of ambient sounds at parts to add even more to the overall textures. Most of what I did was in the M8, but ended up plusing it up a bit in Reaper to get those finishing touches.

Thanks! Trying to get better at video editing as well, so figured this was a good opportunity. Will definitely do it again for some future uploads, but probably not every week 😅

Thanks! Definitely tried to make it a bit dark, I've been consuming tons of industrial metal and darker electronic music in the past year, so trying to get some of that vibe with my submissions!
