Cargo Ship Factory

By moolder on March 3, 2024 8:35 pm

After being woken up by a blimp loudly advertising the wonderful life in the off world colonies, our hero find themselves on the floor of a factory creating automated cargo vessels. These ships transport rare earths to the off worlds, ripping earth apart to feed the lush life out in the kuiper belt. The factory is anything but lush. heavy duty machines tirelessly bend and weld metal into complex shapes and assemble all the hardware until at the end, the new ship can take off right from the factory floor. This process is far removed from any human scale that our hero is left dumbstruck in awe and despair in the harsh light of the welding robot arms.

This was a fun one to make, I took and old track of mine consisting of long pads from the minifrek and chopped the sample up using the blackbox with random LFO for the start position. Took the best parts and made up a new track. The middle part got an extra treatment of distortion thru the minifreak. The only completely new part is the drums, which come from the minifreak. Most of this track was made in different waiting rooms during this week. The Blackbox is great company for boring moments smile
