Sunken Castles In My Garden

By Mistergoodnite on February 1, 2026 11:29 pm

This one was partially inspired by what it felt like as a kid to watch The Last Unicorn on a summer Sunday in the 90's.

The percussion in this is so interesting and fun to listen to along with the rest of the beat. It does have a very 90s feel to it, almost like VHS tapelike quality to the entire track.

An alternate version of the Secret Of Mana soundtrack recorded on a VHS tape. It oozes of nostalgia.

Thank you!  I had a lot of fun combining percussion patterns together to make something that morphs more.

Thank you!  I should play that masterpiece again.  Been playing Illusion of Gaia recently.

Diggin the progressions

Absolutely nailed the description, that boards of Canada-ish nostalgic intro leading to the dope beats.

That intro instantly feels at place in a 90s JRPG. Gosh what an awesome track.

You got your garden all over my sunken castles.
This is really nice, such a lovely piano.
