hay fever

Couldn't sleep (allergies), but finally managed to get a Week 11 submission together so TAKE THAT POLLEN! 😛

Now, if you'll excuse me:

*dives headfirst into the nearest pillow*

zzzzzzzzzzz...happy week 11 everybody...zzzzzzzzzzz

awe that's rough

may you find some relief soon

such a calming chord progression and loving the melodies.  So nice to hear those signature lcb bells too.  I hope you feel better soon! This was a triumphant track especially with that hopeful feel towards the end.  As if the hero is racing to meet a deadline. smile

If only hay fever felt like this track sounds.  This felt warm, soothing, and uplifting to me.  Also I did suddenly sneeze twice about halfway through listening.  I was not expecting to get the fully immersive experience.  smile

ahh this is so nice. intro pads gave me some big George Michael feels, which i love.

sorry the allergies have kicked in for you! it makes mixing, working on music, or really doing much of anything a slog. hope they chill out soon!

ooooh maaaan 1:05 hits hard. Love all the subtle little bits going on here. Very relaxing. the snare that comes in around 3 really changes the feel of it.  Nice work, feel better!!

"pollenpunk", sick.
Allergies do be the worst. I'm cursed with the multi-sneeze gene where I can't stop sneezing for like 5 minutes straight. It's obnoxious.
This was a delightful tune though, as always. If you're RPG had a care center, it could be good recovery music smile. Hope you're catching some good Zzzs!

Hayfever, that's rough. Very delightful song though!

Been gone for a couple weeks, good to hear you're still dropping straight bangers. Wonderful little journey, perfect to get lost to while staring out the window of a bus on the way back home from work (which is exactly what I did).

Hope your allergies clear up soon, have a good week Capy! smile

This tune makes me want to go outside. Lovely. Springtime is really in the air now, I will watch out for that pollen.

love this chord progression. beautiful instrumentation as always. great stereo field. I like how you use multiple instruments each taking a turn with the primary melody, it's great for the ears

All around beautiful, but particularly glorious when the drums decide to get rolling at 3:10!

A good song to wake up to, and to go to bed with. And maybe the sound waves can push away the pollen.
- Spider

Allergies stink...I personally want to take a long distance train ride with this track, it's beautiful.

this is so damn cool

So gentle and bright, with lots of relaxing vibes. It's super catchy, and while I am sorry you have to deal with allergies (welcome? I guess?) I'm really happy this track happened.

Amazing track, lovely ambience, I feel I'm in a cave section of a videogame right after the beginning of it, lots of adventures to come, inspiring heart

man i wish my allergies would sound so fun and relaxing big_smile
i really dig the melodies. really keeps me hooked

There with ya in the allergie department, hittin’ too hard too early. Today has actually been the first day of not suffering to bad so This sounds like how I feel. We can get through this!

P.S. - if you can find it try Allercetin, definitley a big help especially in combination with whatever allergy relief you use.

Sweet track! Love that high string thing at start. Builds nicely

so nice! so classic drum machiney. cool strings. a little bit doctors phone waiting music esque but nice because it keeps changing rather than looping after 30s. as it happens I'm listening on laptop speakers for even more doctors phone sound ahahha

great celebration of the coming of spring, we had a v warm day here in denmark. best of luck with the allergies, don't waste time on homeopathic shit tho, that is a placebo and a scam

Pollen sucks.. This track does not though smile Love it!

Hehe, there was certainly *somebody* racing to meet a deadline last week. 😅 Thanks Tone Matrix!

Oh dear. 😅 Well, I’m glad to hear the track was a pleasant experience at least. Thanks!

Same. 😞 But your encouragement’s a real pick-me-up. Thanks jwh!

Hehe, I could use a recovery center for sleep deprivation. 😅 Thanks ViridianLoom!

That’s so kind of you to say! Happy to hear it made your bus ride better. 😊

Thanks 2haf! A lot of this stuff is inspired by getting outdoors in the first place. (I just wind up sneezing all night afterward. 😅)

Thanks Scottux! I tend to like hearing things repeated ad nauseam, so I figure at least trading the melody between parts might help split the difference.

Thanks! I actually did have a lot of fun deciding to show a bit more restraint on when to introduce the snare this time around. 😊

One can hope. 😅 At any rate, thanks for the positive feedback!

As someone who loves trains and hates allergies, I appreciate that. 😊 Thank you!

Thanks MRDRCAT! I’m glad it happened too. Insomnia-fueled WB tracks are kind of special in a best-of-a-bad-situation / silver lining sort of way.

Glad to know it holds up on laptop speakers! I do try to test listen each week on whatever setups I’ve got just in case. Thank you!

This might be the best review I’ve ever gotten for a WeeklyBeat. 😅 Thanks cortx, very glad to hear you liked the track!

An incredibly soothing track.
I hope the pollen is well and truly gone by now!!!
