Don't give up now

TL;DR: Things didn't go as planned this week. I should know by now that they rarely do when it comes to WeeklyBeats 
I had a pretty clear vision going into this week. I wanted to do a chipmetal track with lsdj and guitars. I had Dr. Wily Stage 2 and December Flower (In Flames) in mind when I started.
I came up with a couple of decent riffs, but I also stumbled upon a completely different thing when I messed around with the guitar. It was a slow alt-rock/shoegazy chord progression that immediately inspired me to write lyrics.
I spent some time on the second idea and got the lyrics done. I had the arrangement in my head, so all I had to do was to start recording guitars.
This was on Tuesday. Then I didn't do anything else until the weekend came. All of a sudden I felt that I didn't have enough time to realize any my initial ideas.
Backup plan kicked in: I created a short loop on the OP-XY and then made a quick arrangement in Logic. Added a couple of guitars to make it a bit more interesting.
