Warm, and hitting all the right spots. A nice relaxing inbetween.
thank you for turning my p00ter into a tape machine with this calming track
imma curl up in the corner now.
Really nice warm acoustic sound. It gives me a nostalgic feeling for places I haven't even been, like quaint English Villages celebrating spring and hosting a fair.
What a lovely little melody.
I find a lot of peace in "between" times. Like a vacation that you know is gonna be over next week is one where I'll have the easiest time to just really let go and relax. I have felt my most at ease in the little pockets of downtime between two life chapters. And then there's, of course, being cuddled up between pillows. All of that I can find in here. Thank you!
this is amazing! sometimes the in-between weeks end up being the most beautiful
Beautiful playing, particularly the arpeggio (possibly?) in the verses, and a great progression into the bridge that brings to mind a lost Beatles track. (I really want to hear this with vocals at some point...) Wonderful stuff!
Beautiful tune. And I know what you mean.
Sometimes there’s not as much time as there seems.
But this quick composition’s the stuff of dreams.
Glad you made this one (in between)! 😉
This is kind of perfect because the deer is (in between) the grass. 😎
* inside scoop: just to the left of the photo jwh posted here - at the edge of woods/parks edge in the middle of a patch of blooming virginia bluebells, spring beauties, wild violets, & white trillium (among other spring ephemerials) there were 3 deer hanging out who stood and watched us as we waved to them from trail
what a vibe. this is lovely and comforting like a big hug. great work
Great song jwh! Really nice recording too. I love that you were able to put together something so beautiful with only the time in between.
This is so nice. My partner asked what it was while it was playing in the background.
love the acoustic, those scare me, but I really do need one, that and a nice hollow body are on my list. Very lovely!
This is beautiful! Simple but not wanting/needing anything else. That main melody is lovely. Y'all with your "real musician" cred... ![]()
The way this starts it reminds me of Oo-De-Lally, one of my favorite songs from Disney's Robin Hood.
Really lovely and relaxed vibe here. Not sure what audio processing you did here, but it has an awesome lofi feel. Really nicely done!
Feels like looking out at the woods from the patio at sunrise. Agree with MrdrCat that this works as-is. Really like the marshmellow-sweet processing on the electric guitars. My favorite part is the time signature shift from the 6/4 of the A section to 4/4 in the B, and the little syncopated interrupt in the B section riff that helps blend it with the A. Nice work!
Oh man, this is so soothing and calm. Lo-Fi girl wants to have a word with you.
I just want to sit back and chill in the sun. (I cant, im working atm).

Nice!
It sounds great. I really like the clean electric guitars over the acoustic ones. Beautiful.
I'm in awe of how you do it. A beautiful arrangement, with so much character. Like a dependable old couch, I sink in and know I'm where I'm meant to be.
man, I love the melody, the tone, and the tape warble. just everything, so good!
Warm warbly goodness. The two guitar tones work very nicely together. So nice. ![]()
legit made me cry.
This might actually be my favorite from you.
thanks for posting!!
