Such a cozy tune and arrangement. Bass and electric guitar feel so connected here. Did a ton of "weeding"/planting this week so I feel this one.
Really cool how the song is about seeds and started as a seed itself. The sing-along chorus gives the positive feels, even though you've thrown in that tricky "or not" in there. And then reading the rest of the lyrics it's not quite as optimistic as it initially seems. I like that though, because it adds a sense of unexpected ambiguity.
This reminds me of how Hellsongs covers staple metal songs in this hippie acoustic way they call "lounge metal". You get gentle optimistic chords and melodies and lyrics about mutilation, whipping dances of the dead, and the war pigs crawling.
Here your lyrics ain't that optimistic as the first glance would suggest! There's a nihilistic undertone. I appreciate that.
Ahhhh lovely. I'm always here for the vocals and the lyrics but there's these very subtle details in your music that really brings out the feels, that little bit of edgy plucky strums on the guitar takes this into such a space of nostalgia and creates "a moment" for me. Really beautiful.
I love how effortless this feels, even though it sounds very nicely polished.
Very nice, I vote yes for getting better. I like what you did with the lyrics. I leave "weeds" in the ground often.
Man I love the tone on the guitars in this track. Also super catchy tune, and progression... I have the sneaking suspicion that I'm gonna be humming this all day tomorrow without realizing it. Awesome track.
Love the lyrics and the sing-a-long feels that had me chiming in. Guitars sound great and overall production is excellent. Yais i like!
YES
