Downspin Hemorrhage

The thing nobody tells you about sleep on the 'belt is how much time it takes to adjust. They don't lead with that in the brochures sitting in every waiting room planetside. If you got recruited in Jovian space they were probably a little more up front, but then again you probably already had some experience in micro gravity, so who would they kid?

Six weeks of sedatives just to get a night's rest without spilling your dinner, and another eight on an antiemetic cocktail so strong the side effects would constitute torture somewhere more civilised. For the first six months on shift you're basically a zombie. The only saving grace is nobody gives you grief about it. They know. They've been there.

My advice? Don't try a FIFO gig to anything vacuum-sealed. You're better off staying in the black for a few years and taking the Extended Stay bonuses... Saves you the readjustment that eats into your vacation time.

Heavily inspired by the Citizen Sleeper soundtrack on this one. Possibly forgot to finish it last night and just tidied it up for release 30 mins out from deadline smile

Amazing feels here. Hopeful, but that deep recurring g sample wants to get out. Awesome track

I really enjoyed Citizen Sleeper! You did a great job of capturing the vibe of the soundtrack and the game smile have you played the sequel yet? and if so, is it as good as the first one?
awesome track, thanks for sharing!

Suuuuuuuuper cool sci fi spacey energy here, loving the lore too!!! Those vocals creep me the F out, hahaahha... The lead synth stabs are very blade runner-y, I love it!

Very mysterious and definitely space-y. Great sound design and atmosphere, especially that pad.

Excellent sound smile

Thanks for listening friends!

Citizen Sleeper 2 is good! I think it's not as good as the original, but it does a good job building on the mechanics while keeping the same vibes. I absolutely adore the soundtracks - and again the first one is better but they are both great.
My latest tattoo is relevant (still need to go back for a touch up)

Awesome clean mix. Love the minimal approach. That super low breathy bass accent is awesome.
Still need to play Citizen Sleeper, sounds amazing!

This is captivating and builds so well. Great journey!

I've heard Citizen Sleeper is a banger, but it can't be as much of a banger as this track is.

the pitched down vox fx give me prey vibes and enjoyed how it tied into the melody as it progressed. great dissonance toward the end as well. really nailed down the unsettling yet hopeful vibe

The soft synth is soooo good!

Oooh that arp is hypnotic and so soothing with the pads! had me swayin and noddin along.  well done!
