bit of a strange one this week

started off as an open c guitar loop.  looking at it, think it's in Bb lydian but the chorus modulates somewhere.

the drum loops, especially in the chorus, sound rather adore-esque pumpkins.  which was never the intention.

decided the single note guitar melodies are my wan attempts at some kind of surf guitar.  going to lean into it next time.

happier I *think* with the vocals.  there are some small rhythmic issues here and there but definitely think I'm gaining confidence!

gen loss ever present.  most guitars are a modded j masics JM.  plenty of bass vi with a dub delay sneaking in there.

Mastered in logic which is a first for me

next week - maybe back to lofi emo walls of noise.  maybe.

really lovely tune again heart half time feel section at the end rules, love those big drums and delayed guitars.

Wonderful song, with impeccable tracking and that dreamy quasi-nostalgic flavor that sets all HTA tracks apart in my mind.     The vocal performances + harmony sound so good.  The mix deserves a shout, too―those dry drums sound great against the guitar riff(gen loss, you say...🤔).  +fav

BTW near the beginning of wb2022, I remember you mentioned you'd been recording with an iphone.  Is that still the case here?  If so, it's a pretty compelling advertisement for Apple products.

big big late 90's emo mineral vibes. makes we want to sit on the hood of my first shitty car in a parking lot after work.

Great job on the vox + harmonies. That outro is killer. Awesome vibe to the whole track.

Awesome track! Guitars sound so good in the mix.  Your vocals sound great with the epic drums.  Really nice vocal harmonies as well.  Especially enjoyed the outro.  Excellent mix \m/

I like the chorusy guitars there with those nice drums.

Your vocal performance is pretty good too.

So dreamy and emo. I feel like I’m laying in the grass listening to my Walkman.

This is beautiful. The layered guitars are like a wonderful canopy of leaves, and your vocals sit so perfectly on top of them. Beautiful beautiful music.

Absolutely amazing vibes.
