My kids expressed some alarm and disappointment that I might not be doing a new song each week in 2015.  And aside from people not always commenting, the community seems pretty strong here.

Yeah, my wife and kids aer wondering about next year, too. I'm thinking about posting a classical piece performance every week. I like the habit building, and yeah, the community is great.

all cool. you should never force yourself or others into listening to good music. good music finds you automatically! I too barely listen to any stuff and I am not visiting music festivals or concerts that often anymore because it's nothing new and exciting to me anymore. sometimes it is but not as much as 3 year ago. even with weeklybeats I have to take some days until I am "ready" to listen to some tracks and comment. but that's perfectly fine. nobody expects you to comment or anything. the project is about you and the improvement of your skills and nothing else. fame actually has nothing to do in the world of creativity! it is just an unnecessary side effect.

Thanks man! Makes sense when you put it like that :-)

Not what I meant... I'm just saying I'm surprised by my own reaction to so much new music.

Hey guys, I gotta tell you something. I think I have music fatigue. I mean, not making music, but listening to new music. You all make awesome music (well, maybe not all, I"m not sure that I'm even listening to you all) but I find it harder and harder to listen. I'm still going to try it, but I'm just saying, it's a lot of music. Anybody feel the same? That may be part of the reason why I'm not commenting so much. I'm sorry.

mmmmmmmmm?

Only about 90 minutes! Huh.

Interesting! Thanks for chiming in! I'm very impressed with the ways that some of you have found ways to work on this continously over the week. Chord progressions first... that's an idea. I'm struggling with making it work, but clearly the weekly beats have been good for that. It's the closest to a "band practice" that I had in a long time, so that's a good thing, and hearing from y'all every week is certainly very helpful. Thanks!

I mean, now that we're almost halfway there? I'd be curious to know how people manage - a little bit each day, or all at once?

I'll confess I hardly make any music until about Friday or Saturday. Then I usually pull a late night, with about 3 hours from start to finish.

How 'bout you?

I'm on board! It's a habit now.

Hey everybody,
I was unable to upload my week 27 song!! It just said, "please wait while your file is being transferred to our server" and that was all. Now I can't see it in "My music" but I also can't upload on the main page any more.

I *think* that means something went wrong but I guess I'll wait and see...
Right?
Thanks!
