The stereo mix option might not be there on some soundcards, though.

After getting only 1 comment on week 5 I was really surprised to get so many this time. Thanks to everyone who commented!
I felt like my entry this week was inferior to the one in week 5, but at least it was better than last week's.

Re: Inspirational Artists (38 replies, posted in General Discussion)
My favorite artists are ilkae, Proswell, Machinedrum, and my friend and rival Agargara.
I also really enjoy VGM, where my favorites are Kazumi Totaka (Link's Awakening), Hip Tanaka(Earthbound/Mother 2), Junya Nakano (Dewprism/Threads of Fate), Masashi Hamauzu (Saga Frontier 2), Manabu Namiki (A ton of cool STGs (and BRS the Game!)), Jun Ishikawa (Kirby!) and Yasuhisa Watanabe (also a bunch of cool STGs and Taito titles).
There's so much more that I like, but these artists seem to be the ones I listen to most. I'm most interested in the peculiarities of an artist as opposed to any particular genre or style.

In December I released a concept album called Ridley's Bifurcation made in Pxtone for the netlabel Piston Source:

Since it's on Piston Source you can get mp3s and also the sourcefiles, so you can see all the samples I used and remix my tracks and stuff.
After Agargara released Lost Tracks (which is amazing, I highly recommend checking it out) I was hit with a big burst of inspiration and worked pretty feverishly for the next three months or so, cranking out the album. At the time I started I wasn't very enthusiastic about making music, but this album was a really good experience for me and brought me a lot of joy while making it.
There's a lot of diversity on it, so I think most people will find a track or two they like there.
