Is the banner used for this site, I don't think they'd have a problem with you using it.

I missed Week one. big_smile

Submit yourself wailing into a microphone.
For extra points, use a terrible quality microphone and overlay a midi drumbeat.
Call it 'Lamentations of a Broken Man'.

I wish my mum would comment on my music. :<
Other than 'WHAT IS THIS NEW-AGE MALARKY? BACK IN THE EIGHTEEN HUNDREDS WE HAD TO WALK TWENTY KILOMETRES BAREFOOT OVER BROKEN GLASS TO HEAR MUSIC'

I think I speak for everyone in the Weekly Beats community when I say...
I feel you bro.

Will be a stretch with the girlfriend moving in the next few days/weekend, but maybe I can use her for my own nefarious musical ends. lol

Female vocals or she has to move back out.

The best I can do is making her say things in a cute voice, something only a weaboo would appreciate. tongue
I've had to trash yet another project file, nothing seems to be going write musically this week.
Though, I think I've found another winner... More trance!

I can't really give an opinion other than I love what I know, and FLS is what I know. tongue
I've buggerised around with others like Reason and Ableton, but never really got much done in them.
Probably because I look back and remember how long it took me to know FLS as well as I do (probably not well!).

In the end, I think the most important part is that you're comfortable with the program you're using. Something that allows you to get your creativity down on proverbial paper, without tying you up with complications.

Was playing around after listening to some of this week's uploads, so here's a bit of a snippet of what I'm already working on for next week. big_smile

I tend to take less than 12 hours all up to finish a song anyway, so it's not a huge deal for me. xD
Pro's might hear the quality difference between something that took all week and mine, but I can't, so meh. tongue

I've always wanted to try the 30 minutes every four hours one, but it's difficult if you ever want to leave the house. tongue

You'd need a very forgiving schedule, and it'd be difficult to go out.

I imagine that if you miss your sleep time, you'd be a lot more tired than perhaps missing a normal nights sleep.

TIME LEFT TO UPLOAD: 5 DAYS 19 HOURS 23 MINUTES
Aww man, I'm already done.

It's not really 'solemn' anymore, but it's not exactly a feel good track... Still trance. tongue

I didn't put as much effort into mine as I should have, but it got to a point where I wasn't really sure where to take, so I said screw it and just uploaded. xD

Production quality was subpar, even for me, but it's still good to listen to, and for me that's the important part. big_smile
