Hmmm this is acting weird again.

I Ordered by comments, descending. Came out with an URL like this:
http://weeklybeats.com/#/music?p=1& … ment_count

Now, I clicked on a song, clicked back, and the order is all messed up again. Next song which plays doesnt go with that list. I decide to order by comments again, click play on an item on the list, plays, then next song is random again.

I really don't know how else to explain it. Hope that helps.

[edit] ok, I don't get it anymore. Is the list changing dynamically according to the order I chose before? Because it just played a random tune now that isn't present on the list I am seeing. I can only guess this song changed positions in the meantime so the playorder changed.

Shift or ctrl-clicking doesn't work (Chrome on Win7), I must right-click then hit "open in new tab/window".
Any sort of click opens in the same window and creates this "problem".

This is the main reason I discovered it, because I tend to ctrl-click and it wouldn't open a new tab, then when I go back, the order is different.

Not sure. Maybe if 2 items have the same # of comments, it will play them out of order? The only time it should play items that are not in the list, is when it reaches the end of page 1's items, the player will go to page 2 by itself.

Hmm I think I realized what happened. If I click a song to read the description, then come back (hitting the back button), the next song will not be in the same order, although the list is still in the order I generated before. It just jumps somewhere else.

I have another order question.
If I order by Comments, and hit play, it all goes well. Songs get played in that order (although in the playlist, the PLAY/PLAYED button doesn't change, would be nice if it did so I know which songs I played without having to hit refresh).
Anyway, and I can't reproduce this all the time, but some times if I hit NEXT, it plays a tune not in order.
Could it be that 1) the tune changed position since I generated the list order or 2) it's playing a random tune ?

if I used THOSE samples it's because there was a reason

Well in all honesty, if it gets taken down of Weeklybeats, what gives? You still made the track and you can do whatever else you want with it smile Just if you do it again and again you'd be banned and that's not nice, so perhaps as Lazerbeat said, Weeklybeats is not the project you are looking for.

Thanks a lot, I was looking at my profile instead.

I can't find a link to see the tunes I marked as favourites. Only posts.

Yeah, I think it happened to me before but I didn't notice what actually happened.

I was posting something to Analog here:
http://weeklybeats.com/#/analog/music/m … a-no-somos
I used an accentuated character (a spanish word tongue) and it truncated everything that was after that.

Does it happen here too? Let's see:

Normalcharacters and then I put a "é" and what happens?

[edit] nothing happens. Only in comments, it seems.

I wrote "estás" on Analog's comment.

I tried this week again to download something. Still the same config (Chrome on Win7).
Now I get  a page with this:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<Error>
<Code>SignatureDoesNotMatch</Code>
<Message>
The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided. Check your key and signing method.
</Message>
And some more data that I didn't think would be sensible to post here (like, numbers, a string of bytes)

Right click and SAVE AS now doesn't work either, it tries to save an XML file. It used to work.

I also got this one:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Request has expired</Message>
<RequestId>7D9BC18D3324FC8B</RequestId>
<Expires>2012-04-16T00:37:58Z</Expires>

This happened with all my tracks. I believe it's the "^" in the username which gets attached to filenames that is breaking this. Download worked fine with other users.

No, I just thought I stressed you out, which I don't want.
From now on my filenames will be full of illegal characters and gibberish.

xD

Damn, chill. I'm asking, because I really would not understand a need. Now that you explained it it makes sense specially on the feed and server side issues.
But if it is about consistency it's still giving out wrong data specially since the ID3 tags could say different things.
It all makes more sense regarding your server-side issues which I am of course unaware of and are best to be managed in whichever way you seem convenient.

So what is the deal? Why is it not working?

But the result of changing filenames is even more inconsistency, for example in my case or Bleo's.
I don't understand why is it that they need to be changed, though. What does it matter?
