Thanks a lot, I was looking at my profile instead.

I can't find a link to see the tunes I marked as favourites. Only posts.

Yeah, I think it happened to me before but I didn't notice what actually happened.

I was posting something to Analog here:
http://weeklybeats.com/#/analog/music/m … a-no-somos
I used an accentuated character (a spanish word tongue) and it truncated everything that was after that.

Does it happen here too? Let's see:

Normalcharacters and then I put a "é" and what happens?

[edit] nothing happens. Only in comments, it seems.

I wrote "estás" on Analog's comment.

I tried this week again to download something. Still the same config (Chrome on Win7).
Now I get  a page with this:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<Error>
<Code>SignatureDoesNotMatch</Code>
<Message>
The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided. Check your key and signing method.
</Message>
And some more data that I didn't think would be sensible to post here (like, numbers, a string of bytes)

Right click and SAVE AS now doesn't work either, it tries to save an XML file. It used to work.

I also got this one:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Request has expired</Message>
<RequestId>7D9BC18D3324FC8B</RequestId>
<Expires>2012-04-16T00:37:58Z</Expires>

This happened with all my tracks. I believe it's the "^" in the username which gets attached to filenames that is breaking this. Download worked fine with other users.

No, I just thought I stressed you out, which I don't want.
From now on my filenames will be full of illegal characters and gibberish.

xD

Damn, chill. I'm asking, because I really would not understand a need. Now that you explained it it makes sense specially on the feed and server side issues.
But if it is about consistency it's still giving out wrong data specially since the ID3 tags could say different things.
It all makes more sense regarding your server-side issues which I am of course unaware of and are best to be managed in whichever way you seem convenient.

So what is the deal? Why is it not working?

But the result of changing filenames is even more inconsistency, for example in my case or Bleo's.
I don't understand why is it that they need to be changed, though. What does it matter?

Yeah ID3 tags are kept intact and is what I am using so the downloader can rename the file properly. I guess I'll add artist name on the title too from now on.

Hmm I didn't notice that.
I didn't want to mess up the conventions... seemed to me only the title was allowed so this is what I did, but the files uploaded have proper filenames and ID3 tags. Maybe I should just stick the artist name at the title too. The file would still have my username attached at the front which is weird.

I noticed files get renamed instead of keeping the name you use when you upload it. It's a bit weird since a bunch of us are posting tracks of different projects and using the username as artists name doesn't work well, specially when the ID3 tag has the correct information. Can this be changed or is it going to be a pain in the ass?

Right click and save-as works, but it should be fixed anyway.

Hmm... I still can't download a thing... Any solution?

I click on DOWNLOAD and nothing happens. I am using Chrome on a Win 7 setup.
