It's not difficult to make a track a week... just difficult to make a track that i really care about every week

Last week was rough for me, I honestly only submitted the track to keep up with the challenge. It was definitely lacking by my own standards, but I think the track was at-least listenable.. . I am hoping to rope some inspiration today when my shiny new monitor headphones come in. I can't wait to be able to mix with a high quality, flat headset. It's such a pain mixing between bass heavy speakers/headphones, and shitty built in laptop speakers.

It is likely that I will get hit with the music bug again soon though, and then I will release some higher quality tracks... maybe some longer ones too. Plus if I am able to devote more time to my tacks, I will likely make more time to comment on other tracks as well.

This may sound really strange, but I just write in all sharps most of the time. Noob strategy, I know... but it has taught my ear to hear when I go out of key even when I write in other keys. I would advise new composers to do this, only because it is very simple to understand and execute.

It's going well. I don't really feel that it is difficult to put out a song every week... Compositionally wise, I have no issues. I spend most of my time just trying to get the right drums, and volume levels. Because that is my weakest area.

I don't feel that I ever have writers block, i just sometimes feel like It is difficult to beat my previous track. But I have been making a track per week or more since the start of 2011, so this is really becoming just... part of my life now.
