Mines all uploaded! I've just got black metal for a tag on the site and in the mp3 title I have (black metal)
always
Definitely only suggestive. It's just for fun really. Participation is optional. If you're not sure what to do for a tune one week, they could be a source of inspiration.
I thought the record high for Adelaide of 41.6 C would of been higher than that. Weird. I used to live more rural when I was a young un so maybe I've got those hot days in my memory.
I've been plenty productive through the heat wave. Air-conditioned studio and I'm on holidays. I also live near the beach so I went for a snorkel yesterday morning which was awesome. Saw a stingray and a heap of different fish. Great vis.
Hardest thing is watering the vege garden (not really hard) and looking after animals as the gf is away.
No aircon would suck though and I'm guessing it cools a bit more on the coast once the sun goes down.
My black metal song is pretty much done!! Pretty happy with how it turned out actually. I think I caught all the best elements of BM whilst avoiding it sounding like some of those totally woeful ones where they only record on cassette because they're oh so kvlt. heh.
Can't wait to unleash the beast
I can play guitar again! (even though the splinter is still under my nail but the pain has subsided)
Black metal will flow forth like the blood from the frozen forest. \m/
I've actually been in the live metal scene for many years so I'll be having a guest vocalist for my track. TBH I'm not a big BM fan. Bathory did it many years ago although when I played the support for Behemoth, I was quite impressed with their energy. (more 'blackened death metal' though?)
I wouldn't of minded doing a version of Black Metal but I've lodged a decent splinter under a fingernail. No guitar playing until it grows out as it's painful to play :-/
Notifications would be awesome. That's the only thing lacking on this site. Apart from that, amazing job once again.
Sick rig infraded. I'm still deciding on a master case to fit my rig into. Tough choice and lots of $$ :-/
Some sweet toys too cykranosh. I'm interested in the Elektron gear but I'm currently in modular world (for a year now). Love it!
And nice geek bench trash80
I'll see if I can get round to posting some pics later.
Turns out I'm so fucking organised, I've already got an archive of my tracks in mp3 (better than nothing!).
haha.
Ah awesome!! Maybe I should do my own little archive just in case. But thats great! Thanks for the info.
Hiya,
I was just wondering if there's an archived WB2012? It was a great place to have a heap of songs available to peruse.
Cheers.
Typical. Adelaide crew have to go to Melbourne for gigs that aren't coming to Adelaide. You should do Perth as well ;-)
jk
Have fun.
I'm light on the forum cause I'm so damn busy with lots of music projects and bands etc. We're easily on the home stretch now. WB has been great. I've really enjoyed creating for this.
