Hi, could you please change my user name to "rANGEL"?
d.o.n.e.
I wan't also my username changed to synclab, but I have uloaded already but I didi included "synclab" in the track name - is it possible?
Done
Just dont use that account? and remove your song from that account if you have not already. deleting it would kinda screw up your old posts on the forum.
But then your track wont play in our own player, so its not the BEST solution, but external track link is another option. Also it wont work for the RSS feed for poscast etc.
Select the year from the drop down on the music list page. (unless I'm missing something) Wasn't going to take it down.
Another name-change request, please. Can you make me "sounddevisor"?
Done.
Go back to the upload page, hit refresh and try again. Usually this is a error with the page sitting too long and the form expiring. Let me know if it works. We'lll look into solving a bit of this if it becomes common.
I think changing the "Name" on the sign up form to "Username" might fix a lot of this.
Good point.
Can I upload this track at my soundcloud too?
‹ Can I submit a old song? Can I start now?
The idea is that you should create a new submission each week. If you have unfinished or unreleased work that you have finished during the given week, you are welcome to submit it. But remember, submitting it elsewhere before the counter finishes that week kind of spoils the idea a bit. You are of course welcome to do whatever you want with your material. It's just encouraged to allow everyones submissions to be released at the same time.
So basically yes, totally- it's your music- Do with it what you want. Though if it were me I would release my stuff on soundcloud when the track is available here too (When the counter finishes) to keep with the spirit of the idea.
Too long for the moment, causes havoc on the forum. remove "the" ?
Well technically we cannot stop people from downloading it if they want it- even if we removed the button, it would still be accessible through the player urls. You could just remove each song after a day or something when it launches- and move it to soundcloud or something else.
I don't really know, but I guess it allows a higher possibility of exposure.
Right but you are also granting someone to commercially use your track for whatever purpose- aka: advertisements etc. I've found if someone really wants to use some of my music for commercial purposes they generally just email me to ask permission, then I decide if I allow it or not. But to each his own of course.
Yeah we can add it- it might take a few days to get around to it as I'm busy with work and have a wb to make
Just out of curiosity, may I ask why you'd like to have people be able to use your tracks commercially without permission?
Consider it done.
I get the message 'Security error' when I try to upload
What browser etc? That usually means the data in the form is expired. Try refreshing the upload page and try again- let me know if it works.
