"You laughed first" was something I said to a creek this morning after I laughed at myself.
The creek's name was Sulphur Creek and it was far from where I am this evening.
There were many newts near Sulphur Creek.

Idyllic. I feel like I'm there and soaking in the nature. I wasn't expecting the title to actually show up in the song, but it makes it that much better.

My smile just got bigger as I listened…I wasn’t expecting a field recording! Lots of beeps and boops on WB (including mine), so hearing something completely organic is wonderful. And then the laugh came at the end. Perfect. A delightful moment in time.
I love the sound of the river. I wish I could hear the flute a little more, but it's nice to feel like one is ear dropping on a person playing music.
