Fear of Color - Orbitofrontal Cortex

By Fear of Color on March 17, 2024 11:29 pm

Hello there. My third upload (wow, three in a row) is a bit longer than the previous ones. I tried to make it shorter, but the story didn't tell itself in less time.
The "orbitofrontal cortex" is a region of the brain involved in decision-making, emotional processing, and social behavior.

This week I had to make a difficult decision that was about these very issues and processing feelings. So that's the musical translation, if you like.

I hope you'll like it. Enjoy.

Tell me what you think and please feel free to leave a comment.
Looking forward.

Dan

A nice immersive ambient build. I like the ripping distorted synth against the choir.

By the way, where does that choir come from?

Thanks mate. I wanted to create something disruptive against the harmony of the choir.
The choir comes from the Humana Vocal Ensemble Instrument from Reason.

Holy crap, this is lush!

I wish my decision making and emotional processing was this stable 😂

Love the Kick Of Regret at 6:10

Thanks thanks thanks thanks
yeah well the decision making part is the sawy synth. the choir actually stands for "growth" and outshines at the end because it's the growth that keeps us in the track of life.
