Happiest of trails

"wishing you happiness on your new start, you're only as far as my hand from my heart"

Took some of your Discord advice (thank you very much, it will take me a while) and tried to EQ each track. I think it helped a little? I was running everything thru an old preamp and 2 old Boss pedals so there is a buzz in there I was unable to completely EQ out.

I don’t know why, but it reminds me of an old school Seasame Street animation, but like if the loop caught and we suddenly went somewhere weirder hahaha. Whatever is one block off of Seasame Street, where there’s a punk house full of muppets.

It’s so fun. I loved it

the happiest of trails for sure
sounds great!

Loving all the instrumentals on this one. Definitely puts me in a slightly off kilter but very good mood. Like I just had a couple shots of whiskey and then took a walk through a forest.

I love the line "you're only as far as my hand from my heart". Nice one!

Wow, thanks for the compliment! I didn't get that vibe, but it was written for a dear friend who lives in such a wonderful kind of house, so maybe some of that came thru

There was definitely alcohol involved in the production of this track, so that tracks

Thank you! Inspired by a Heart Chant we did this week, with my friend who is going away traveling for a while.

Whoa the hard panned vocal parts at the end is cool, caught me by surprise.

Love the cascading winds too in the middle too.  Very cool!

I really liked this! Didn't hear any fuzz on my end, the instruments all sounded really well-mixed. Well done!

Hooked immediately from the beginning with the wind instruments. Kind of gives me a Gentle Giant kind of feeling? The mix sounds good to me, I think the EQ helped in giving each instrument its space.

Excellent vocal harmonies especially as they give the feeling of climbing a big spiraling tower.  I also wanted to do a jig in my chair.  smile

Sounds delightful. All the parts are distinct and clear, not hearing any objectionable buzz either if that was a concern (though I am a fan of all things distortion...), so I think your EQ efforts were very successful.

Wow loving this, slightly haunted clarinet(?) and those lovely vocal. Such a mood, great job!

I really like this it really has a good flow to it. Has a constant rhythmic element and it just sort of dances across very nice. I like it a lot.

for a folksy-sounding tune such as this i didn't expect such an articulate-sounding "modern" mix, which is v cool to hear!  Nice flow to the song too.

lovely song. pretty different from what I usually listen to but really enjoyed it.

The bassoon/woodwind instrument is very nice here! And the vocals mesh super nicely, too! Great job!!!

Magic, thank you fetalface

This sounds like watching Jim Henson's The Storyteller on acid

It seems like the EQ trick worked because these parts fit together in the mix well. I also like the buzz. Overall a really cool track. Nice work!

This sounds like if Boards of Canada made folk music. Nicely done!

I forgot this feeling existed. thank you.

This feels very motivating.
