watched an IG video from Disclosure at Hard Fest in LA. there was a slide with Bonobo and they dropped this fatty bass line. no id for it in the comments. later see bonobo released an EP called 'Expander' and based on some of his photos and fascinations with antennae and remote locations. gave that a listen. it's the song from Hard Fest! enjoyed it.

later sat down to make my track this week. still playing with opening up filters to create interest and change in a track. felt bonobo-esque. listened to 'Expander' again - added in some elements that he had that i didn't to continue to make it interesting and mimic his style somewhat.

played around with some weird transitions in this one, but all good to get the hang of introducing new elements. mixing is still tricky since i improvise so don't have clear main element to emphasize and build around.
