W18 - Untilted

Been behind listening to other WB submissions. Missed 2 weeks so far. Currently feeling contemplative and a bit melancholic remembering DMC. It happens from time to time. Mixed feelings on using old voice recordings. Watched Civil War and The Fall guy. Enjoyed the former. Discussed former employment with partner. Faced struggled with VTC over boundaries around visits and forced commitments. Dealt with help from partner. A bit low. Some more Star Trek TNG. Did not get around to reading anymore. A lot of time lost on the internet. Wandering. Some quick bike rides to help keep active. Burn out confusion. Not much to record. Listened to the Gesceap's new release and PT Weekender. Interesting things Doom Genre historical context and narrative campaigns systems focus

Gear Used:
Dirtywave M8

Software used:
Ableton
Fors Romb
Ozone 10
Udio v1
RX950
Chip Crusher 2
Strange Attractor (App no longer available, old recordings)

Started song after revisiting this. Played in some loops programmed others. Took some sounds from AI sessions for samples manipulated them and used for texture. Prompts used include noise, percussion, dissonant, atonal, foley, sound effect, power tool. Manipulated and cut. Converted everything into samples playing with resolution for texture. Taken to M8 for final composition and additional layering and sequencing. Used sequencer, LFOs, and envelopes to make a modular styled rhythm out of FM synth noise. Mostly samples with m8 processing and mixing and sequencing. Stems for final mastering. some generative elements. Completed in 3 hours over 2 separate days. Happy with outcome despite how simple it ended up being.

Thanks for listening smile

So soothing and meditative, this is a perfect track for starting my morning smile

Loving the crispy, wood-like percussions, and the general "lazy summer afternoon decay" vibe of the track, if you know what I mean.

Quite enjoyable piece. It sounds like Aphex Twin grew on Ohio instead of Cornwall. I know it doesn't make sense, but that's the feeling

Excellent work!

Just a lot of pitch modulation and truncated break parts I believe. Different state but the suburbs and surrounding rural land may have some similarities smile
