solastalgia: "can be thought of as a deep form of homesickness for the home or land of your recent past, experienced while still living in that home or place..."

Lots of eerie and interesting elements in this one. Also, what an interesting word, and what a profoundly deep experience that word describes. heart

Humanity lever learns, does it? Thank you for making this.

( ˇ÷ˇ ) Such a well made, and thoughtful track.  Just a great concept, to stack single phrases in the way that you did... always the same... but always new... tense and unresolved... always moving forward, but never changing... genius... Bravo... <(_ _*)>

Like beautiful mold growing on derelict stuff

This is a beautiful song about destruction. Happy and sad

Huh...fascinating word! I had to use my brain a little to figure out how the lyrics and music were working here, very cool track.

Solastalgia is a new term for me, but it sounds like something we'll likely all be more familiar with than we want to the way things are going.  Even without knowing that context the music on this one creates an unsettling feeling.

Solastalgia is what I must have felt in the month leading to me leaving California.

The harmony in the song is more magical mystery than nostalgia though. It feels like: I'm curious about this new place!

Really cool. The concept is big, and the music fits. That guitar riff sounds sooo good, btw. Thanks for the intro to this word!

I feel this so deeply, thank you, lovely sounds.

Oooh love the repeating guitar loop and the effect it takes on as it progresses.  Airy organ pads are soothing in contrast to the sorta alien like synthflute in the distance.  Great atmosphere throughout and love how it ends on that one note.

The drums and guitar sound really cool together, it initially feels like a bit of a "clash" but then it just makes sense and flows. Vocals rock!

You gave the track a great amount of despair and loneliness. It feels intense and frightening as well. A classic emily song.

Wow, brilliant how all this builds and comes together...

thank you WB community!

i've tried many times to write out more about all the thoughts/notes for this track as there is a lot swirling around in my head and heart but for now i think this song is all i'm able communicate for the moment...

if any of you feel like writing out more of your thoughts on how all this change is affecting you i'd be interested to read them heart

A very tense vibe, asphyxiating almost.
