Mon robot ne veux pas booter (Orange Drink mix)

By djippy on December 15, 2024 11:06 pm

This is one of those weeks where I didn't find time to record anything.

The week I did record https://weeklybeats.com/djippy/music/mo … eboot-loop, I did ask for some of you guys to mix the track. Orange Drink did a stellar job but I received his mix right after I did a pass where I did automate quite a bit of stuff and I did find my mix a bit more powerful especially on the wall of guitar solo at the end, but a lot of his decisions I really liked. His mix is more clear than mine, less "messy"...

I feel it does merit more listens then just me so here it is. If you didn't listen to my version yet, you can go back to it and have fun to compare it.

I'll try to take some time to work on the week 52 collab this week, plus some new things for you guys. a bit sorry I didn't this week but as I said I feel Orange drink mix merits some love!

Take care all!

JPD.

Suhweet OD mix, both versions sound thick and powerful to me smile  Gotta love that crunch in the guitar.

An undeniable power, still as French
- Ebrit

This is super growly, gritty and gruff!!! Sounds awesome!!!!!

very cool to hear the OD mix!

FINALLY I HAVE BEEN RELEASED FROM THE DUNGEON!

okay here's what really happened, I actually flew to meet DJIPPY in person, we recorded the track, I went to mix it, he went out to get us dinner, he came back, I presented the mix, he HATED IT, and then he said, "YOU CALL THIS A MIX, THIS IS TRASH" and then he locked me in a cage and threw my food away.

I have actually been in the DJIPPY DUNGEON this entire time and all of my tracks and videos have been from a AI program that Frank has been running while looking for me.

Hey, I didn't throw your food away, I did eat it! and yeah, Orange Drink is now captive here. His vids were all done in front of a green screen and he actually did record all my latests tracks. smile

Seriously tho, thanks a lot for the time you did put into this and I would LOVE to eat some day with you in person, I feel it would be super fun. If you want to come in Montreal area some day, I'll take you for drink and some food!!!

djippy dungeon is a pretty cool idea... maybe I should start this wink .
