Ten Years Ago They Were Just Another Snake Cult, Now They Are Everywhere.

I wanted to use things from Musescore that I had never used before. I started out with lots more percussion than I actually used.  I thought it might be about a coming storm or some epic tale.
I had this notion of a rehearsal in a dream where you and everyone are arriving late, and trying to find their place-- late entrances not in sync with the rest of the musicians--exasperated conductor.
My husband Dan named this, as I couldn't figure out what I had written. I thought might as well!

Oh man, your second line is so evocative. I can FEEL that in this piece.

snake cult, go away!
such a cool piece! are the voices programmed?

I really like this, rising from a quite calm to an almost civilized chaos.  The voices against the chimes was really effective, great work.  As for the title, I certainly didn't expect a line from Conan as I was browsing this weeks releases - it was quite fitting, especially at the beginning

love the title!  i could see this as part of an Indiana Jones style adventure
