Learning to Ride My Broom

Infer what you like from the title- my husband named this.  These things fall out of my head.

I used a Toy piano, Celeste, Violin and Cello. The Toy Piano sounds like a Marimba, but in my head I heard the Orff Xylophones that I used when I taught General Music.  The first theme (always at 90 bpm) with the octave alternating bass marches along.  The second theme each time it appears rises to 100 bpm to lend a sense of urgency.
The violin rises at the end of the first theme and introduces the melodic, angular cello line. I used sul ponticello in various places, and especially at the end where the last cadence is whisper.

Beautiful track! I like the different facetious lines that appear in this composition!

Really nice piece, great voicing and colors, tonal shifts and sounds!

Magical. Even if not you, certainly these movements.
