It's been a tough few weeks, and I'm feeling very weary. Rather than push myself and stress about trying to make something "good enough," I decided to go more ambient this time. I've had this patch I really like on the TEO-5, and I haven't figured out how to fit it into a song I like, but I really like this simple little two chord progression, and it's been a fun meditative thing for me to come back to periodically. I decided to just have this be mostly that, with some norns randomization with awake (technically the awake synth doubled with an astrolab mallet patch). I then ran everything through some iPad FX just to give it some crunchy noisy lofi feel, and I called it a day.

It's not going to blow your mind. Hopefully it gives you some space to breathe and rest. Hopefully I get some, too. God has been good to me this week so I'm going to try to breathe and count his blessings to me.

Amazing ambient piece! Love it smile

very spacious and peaceful, sometimes less os more. nice one!

This gave me the space to breathe and rest, as though I was in a safe zone upgrading my abilities in a rainy cyberpunk playthrough.

Ambient during tough weeks is the way to go. Sounds really nice.

Nice one! Simple, but very nice and the sounds are great as always. I hope you are doing well!

Love this. Good ambient requires so much patience and a sense of space - which this track has in spades, so well done. This would sit very nicely on one of neon liminal's space ambient albums.

Love getting lost in a 2 chord progression like this.  The space between the chords is so soothing with the melody.  Faved for future meditation heart

needed that. cheers, dadboy heart

100% agree with Tone. The two chord works superbly well here and I love the subtle mallet ear candy teasing around the edges and in the space between.

Feels like a relaxing moment off after a long day.

Lovely spaciousness

Wow, this has everything I like about ambient music. Great chords choices and lovely fx. Enough movement throughout to keep the brain engaged but enough space to let it relax.
Kudos!

Love the ambient tape textures to the piece.  Very cool feel to it.  More ambient is good I reckon!
