I don't know if this is my imagination, but all the parts just feel slightly unaligned which brings such a cool semi-chaotic vibe to this song. Then you bring in the vocals and it pulls everything together in this stylish way. I really like this!

It's a sweet, psychedelic sadness. Agree with geopet, the slightly wobbly/misaligned layers, especially in the beginning between the jangle guitars and the synths, really fits the dissociated mood of the song. And the echoing backing vocals in the verse feel like watching aliens/angels hovering over the track.

If we can't have the higher dimensional entity of your song come save us, maybe all of us who feel adrift right now can make a flotilla together. Need a captain though, I can't steer for nothing
