Evergreen Passageways

By Cosmic Cairns on December 19, 2018 12:13 am

This is sort of a Christmas song... more about imagining getting transported to a winter wonderland (Not much snow around these parts).  Thought I'd use some cello again before the year was out and included a little jingle bell sound to give it that Christmas spirit.  Hope you all have a great holiday!

A bit ominous for the "holiday mood." But that might have been your intent. And, of course, cello is allways a welcome element.

this hits the christmas melancholy spot! sweet tune!

I suppose it isn't the most cheerful, but I'd like to think it fits in with the tradition of the Charlie Brown christmas song for melancholy holiday music.  smile

  Thanks!

The cello is very sad today. The jingle bells are a nice touch. A bit of nostalgia against the somber feel.

Christmas melancholy is a great description for it. I should play this in March or something.

Yes, it is a sad cello.  But I put on some cartoons for it to watch and now it's much happier.  smile

Hmm.  I kind of like the idea of a "Christmas" song that could be played at other times of the year.

Any Christmas song can be played any time, it just loses its luster a bit when Christmas comes around again.

A soft and melancholy christmas tune. The cello is as always a nice touch! Very nice!

the cellos make a great apperance here... also the bells are a great addition. I too get a somewhat sombre feeling about this...perhaps it is also the fact that WB 18 is nearly out smile

Very nice, love that cello and these lyrics. This would be good on the headphones walking through the snowy park at night, which I enjoy doing.  I'm channelling you visions of the snow we have up here in Washington now ... feel it?

A unique take on holidays, it's got that CosmicCairns touch that brings the nice comforting warmth needed in this cold winter smile

Yeah I think the end of the year makes me a little somber...  Thanks for listening!

Ah yes, I think I do feel the snow.  Thanks!

  Thanks!  Appreciate it!  smile

Love the mix of sleigh bells with the cello and guitar.  Your vocals are the finishing touch on this wintry ballad smile
