The arps are really good on this track. These vocals are really good! Are these samples? You did a really nice job building something epic, with a pop vibe without ever sounding cringy.

I love this so much. I wasn’t expecting the vocals! I haven’t heard much Vocaloid in English, this comes through really beautifully

Thanks!  The vocals are actually from the vocaloid Synthesizer V (Solaria is the voicebank).  Super excited to not have to worry about tracking vocals this year.

Thanks!  Yeah, I only really found two contenders, Synthesizer V and Yamaha Vocaloid.  Synth V absolutely crushed Yamaha.  They have a free lite version, which is basically the full version but without the VST functionality, that you grab if you're interested.

That was what I was thinking but it's been such a buzz kill for me for the past few years.  I have some weird respiratory/GI issue that's been making it very difficult to sing long or consistently enough to track anything, so I've accumulated a huge grave yard of unfinished songs.  This vocaloid has been a huge motivation to keep writing though, so definitely is a positive.  Will always pick up the guitar and sing a song or two for fun when the mood strikes though.

Yay!  Glad to have you back man! This is awesome!  I'd never heard of Synthesizer V til now.  Really cool use of it and totally hear your voice/sound coming through it.  The middle section where the synth breaks free was suh-weet! That arp is hypnotic.  Well done!

Oh no! sorry to hear about this. I hope you find the right treatment & can resolve the issue, your health is the most important thing! Meanwhile, we will treasure your instrumental & vocaloid tracks, thank you for bringing them into the world.

These vocals are fantastic. Hopefully you can do a duet at some point because your voice is as well, but take it easy if you need to.

Thanks, glad you like them!  Yes, definitely planning on redoing some old ones and harmonizing with my vocals.  Will try to record more vocals this year when I have time.
