Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

To be online feels very disconnected from the world but this could not be farther from the truth. We connect across infrastructure wrapped tight around the globe like twine. Our homes, our studios, our lives happen on grounds rich with history, across interconnected systems that didn’t magically appear one day but were built intentionally by a collective will to create, and often through the forceful destruction and exploitation of existing people and ecosystems.
It cannot go without acknowledging the unceded lands of the Gumbaynggirr & Dharug & Gadigal peoples, where I grew up and where I make my music and where I live my life. Sovereignty was never ceded here, it always was and always will be Aboriginal land. May all Indigenous peoples be free to live on the lands their families inhabited, from Gadigal to Palestine.
