Comet chasing

A very simple and straightforward track for me. Of course there is a bit meandering leads and pads, but the momentum is pretty much from beginning to the end. It is a sort of synth pop, but a bit more esoteric. I think it is in some ways perhaps refreshing...

The usual gear, the stringy bits are form Elka Rhapsody and the leads are Crumar DS-2 and Ensoniq Fizmo. Some pads also from Roland V-synth. Micromoog takes care of the bass department and the other sequences are form Moog Slim Phatty. Drums from Akai RW and Roland TR09 + Korg ES-1. The sequences are controlled by my 16 track Korg O1/Wfd workstation. I have used that for decades now! Old and simple, but works fine.

love how this slowly picks up steam, like a train taking off! really great groove and mix. that funky synth around the 3 minute mark is SO GOOOD
