I challenged myself this week to write a track only using Ableton Live Lite. This whole track was made entirely inside of a single Ableton Live Lite project using the latest version of Live (12.1). Any samples used all came from the Core Library or the two packs that come with Live Lite, all synth sounds come from Drift (I actually didn't use any presets), no third-party effects or other plugins, and of course I also used my own vocals.

This was a lot bigger of a challenge than I had thought it actually might be, and I ended up with so many lanes of automation and so many sounds shared across the same track using multiple racks, but it just goes to show that you really can do a lot with even the most limited version of Ableton Live if you know what you're doing.

Would I do this again? Probably not. But it was a very fun experiment and I'm actually really pleased with the track!
