I tried to think of what is the most beautiful synthesizer sound... it is of course highly personal thing, but I tried to think of one for me. So here it is, coming in after a minute or so. It has something that reminds me of a human singing voice, but then it is also somewhat flutey... the light distortion and the distant reverb gives it a beautifully ethereal quality. It is actually my Elka String machine plus a boss guitar pedal and some strymon night sky reverb.

Cosmic Cairns

It's probably difficult to choose one sound as the most beautiful, but that is undoubtedly a nice one.  It sounds like singing but also slightly otherworldly.  It's put to good use here.
