Artemis 2

I didn't follow much of the latest around the moon event-thing, but somehow did get a bit inspired by it.
Slightly more unusual for me, as I tried to stay closer to a regular structure with choruses and whatnot for once.
I started building the track around the bassline, its vibe inspired by SQF's week 15 track's bassline, which I eventually dialed back a bit because there is already so much going on in the track.

Again, a long track (what a surprise, I know), and to me, it feels a bit stale at some point.
Then again, I think I've heard the track for what feels like 10 hours now, so the track is dead to me XD

Hope you are doing well, stay healthy!
*hugs*

Crisp mix and very lively movement. Very easy to get losz in, as per yoesual. smile

The mix and production are strong! The tune itself, well, I'm with you in that it feels a bit stale at times. There are just parts where it loses momentum. But I also think that at one point it said what it needed to say. So yeah, I could see this being a decent track if you'd trim the fat, so to say.

The moon excursion was inspiring and I do get some space trip vibes from it.  It could maybe stand to be a little shorter, but I agree it's pretty easy to just zone out and get lost in it.

Such a slick sound to that panned lead \m/ and a nice organic build with the different drum elements coming in. That faded pad is awesome when it flares in and out.

This is great, nice vibe man. The acid parts feel kind of restrained, but the way it all comes in and builds up works really well! Love the panning too big_smile And you know I love a long track, it gives the rhythm space to settle into my body...

lesgooooo

I didn't feel like this became stale at all. Elements came and went and kept me engaged the whole time. I appreciated the restraint, feels like there's a scary amount of energy just bubbling right beneath the surface. Fun stereo play and tasty acid bass section! There's one especially tasty chord in the progression that I love, maybe a minor add 9 or something. Gimme more!

this is great - what an adventure!
