Tough mental health week for me and I struggled to produce anything.
Finally landed on this peaceful ambient piece as I felt the fog lifting.

I spent most of the time on sound design. This is a place where I felt like a better EQ than Bitwig's stock one would have helped, but I don't have a go-to right now since Ozone doesn't run under Linux. Alas.

I also feel like this track could have used a bass. I tried for hours to find one that work, and all of the attempts made the track worse so I just left it out. What do you think - should I keep trying?

Beautiful. Lots of colors that made me think of a lush and cozy videogame world to explore. I listened on phone and didnt feel the missing bass. The groove is cute and I like how there are a couple of percussion hits rarely hitting every few bars. Maybe bass could be smth very sparse like that. Well done chuggin thru the week.
