Affirmation Machines

so it is a little Weekly Beats milestone for me this week!
Yup, week 22, but this is my 200th track submitted! What a wild number. It's not 200 tracks with artwork as I was taking 2024 lightly, but hey, we can celebrate that another time, right?

So, weirdly, once I worked that out, this track just became a weird weight of thoughts and errors. It very nearly got rebooted when I noted it was always tanking my cpu becasue the bitrate was set too high. Some guitars have overload clicks, the mix was messy, I randomly got into a chord progression in the bridge that moved the rest of the track into a very slightly different key.

But, we persist, thats what we do. I also thought I'd give the 'Jimmy Eat World - Lucky Denver Mint' ending, becasue why not, it's my track, I'll put delay on drums if I want.

So yeah. A weird ol' week. and life isn't getting any less busy right now, so here's to everyone keeping on truckin'.

DAMN! 200 is awesome.

I am getting there slowly... Didn't think about counting how many I did, but if I add up my 3 completed Weekly beats and this year I am at 178. This sounds like a crazy hi number. You can maybe deduce 15-20 "cheats" or recycled stuff, but still. it piles up pretty good.

Nice track again. I really like the top end, all those "hopeful" cool synths. Congrats on the art covers as well, I really appreciate that you put the effort week after week. They are great.

200!!! congrats, and what an epic track to celebrate. that ending O.O

Congrats on 200! That's huge. Sounds glorious. Great job on the dynamics, it really radiates towards the end.

Oh, this is very nice, just the thing to get through the day.
