I didn't have a lot of time this week. Busy at work and at home. I also didn't get to listen to and comment on that much.

This is a bit more of the same compared to what I did the last couple of weeks. Piping midi from Tidal Cycles into Ableton Live, where I had lots of VSTs running.

I think it came out okay. Nothing spectacular.

More busy weeks coming up...

You came away with a nice lead at least. It's the star of the show.

The sound design is excellent. I agree that the overall composition hasn't reached its full potential on this one. Not that it's bad. Not at all. But it could be more interesting, yes. Because the foundation is there for sure. Anyway,  I hope your busy weeks won't last too long.

Amazing work making the the 5/4 feel natural. The slow modulations of that lead that comes in during the bridge is so sweet. Nice punchy drums too!

the command console shimmers with neon light, barely visible through the haze of cigarette smoke

Thanks for the kind comments and feedback!

Great moment when that C64-like brass enters the scene. Lovely track.
