Do you want it sealed shut or stuck open forever?
Bed fell through the floor on the first night
Nothing much wrong, just a feast for a termite
Avoid the weak spots if you value life

WB04 — Falling Through The Floor
My January theme: “Keep it moving"
[Challenge]
Make something in Logic Pro on my iPad composed using the piano roll because all my MIDI controllers are at the new place.

[Reflection]
I really wasn’t sold on this one until I listened back the next day. I made it while winding down after a long day moving house, and also there were some more chaotic layers I left out in the end. It turned out a really simple groove that I really like and excited to build on one day. It’s interesting to see what happens when I don’t play any live MIDI or audio on a track, when I was a kid it was all intricate penned compositions and nowadays I’ve gotten better at recording live so prefer that — now I find I don’t have the focus for penning long complicated patterns, I prefer to just play them in live as best I can.

I would have made one more section longer if I had time, and added some more layers.
