Really enjoyed this! great vocal melody. Whole thing really comes together and has a great vibe. Nice!

yeah! this sounds great and tasteful. A big midlake-fleet foxes vibe. bravo.

3.2.1 that bassline is fun!  nice touch

oh my god i died at that bigger vocal delay

wow, this is big picsound meets saturn energy

is this yamaha cx?  sounds terrific.

what did you want more from the drums?  I feel like I heard a reverb cut that was pretty sick.

Love the vocal silence into DL4 (?) insanity.

Wow, this is really nice and full and lush and amazing.  wow.

the squad when there's a new zirafa track:

The drums are fine, the whole song is fine

woah...thanks for the kind comment and tip about midlake -- hadn't heard of them before. Just listened to a couple songs and they seem up my alley, reminds me a bit of grizzly bear

thanks brah.

yep, yamaha reface cs. love that little guy!

the drums are actual samples of my drumkit which I then tried to program to sound natural. I couldn't quite get the swing feel right, so some sections end up being swung too hard and others not enough. To my ears it feels a little clunky in some spots and lower energy than I was hoping. If I could do it again I would probably speed up the tempo a bit to add some more energy and go with a more consistent, straighter feel.

Fun fact -- not a DL4! This is an attempt at live automation in my DAW, which I usually don't do but I am trying to learn more about.

thanks, seems like only I can hear the issues with the drums. I appreciate the listen!
