Always Forever You

By Xavier on February 15, 2026 11:58 pm

I wrote this for Valentine’s Day after reflecting on why so many love themes in games and films feel bittersweet. They’re never just happy — there’s longing, gratitude, and the quiet fear of losing something beautiful. That complexity feels real to me, so I tried to bring that into this piece.

Man, you understood the assignment. Love be complex, yo smile

Absolutely smashed it. Love the mix of instruments you have going on - piano against the soft woodwinds/choir is great. Wonderful motion to the piece, and loved your melodic theme. Fantastic.

It wouldn't be as much of a compelling game without conflict, and conflict gives risks of danger. The pensive atmosphere isn't that strange all things considered.

Love the orchestration though, absolutely phenomenal collection of instruments.
