Hey guys!

I was away from the studio all week so had to make this one on the go.
This was an old song I had laying on the m8 that started as a "one track challenge", but got out of hand as I started to add more tracks and got carried away.
The main ideia was exploring chord changes on hypersynth and some remix commands.

I hear this tune more as an exercise rather than a fully fleshed out song with a message and a though out arrangement but as always, the goal here is to show up for the WB.

All done on the M8 with some post-processing in Ableton Live.

Hope you have fun! See you next week!

Super fun tune! What ever are remix commands?

Thanks!
Remix commands are tracker commands on the Dirtywave M8 that allow you to set the playhead to a specified position, making it possible to re-sequence the sequence! They're unpredictable which makes them good fun to mess around.

Oh yeah... lol duh (smacks self). I had to use those in my track this week. smile

I still have yet to use the RMX command! Even tho I keep telling myself I'll use it. It's great that you started off with a one track vibe and then became totally inspired to just keep building on it, that's always exciting. This is a great tune!! Love the swing/groove, also got some really nice stereo effects going on, the panning is sick. Those hypersynth chords are awesomeeee!! You're a chord wizard for sure. heart

Glad you revisited and morphed this one track challenge, I dig it. I also need to get on the RMX command

As a song, rather than an exercise, it's decent, but you could let the chords linger a bit more.
