The past couple of weeks I've spent considerable time leafing through a hard drive full of old demos and recordings. I hadn't expected the nostalgia to be so strong - hearing the voices of people long gone, my own voice like a stranger's too, was like teleportation. Even though these folders contain hours and hours of recordings made on minidisc, dictaphone and digital recorder, I found myself wishing I had recorded more. I wish I had recorded everything. Here's another collage using voice and guitar from around 2011.

A cool way to use a part of your old self and past in a new form!

Really enjoyed the slow down bits and, if you had a mind to, it seems like you could use a lot of this old material to do something like a vaporwave track in the future. Either way, hope the tracks to come bring you more meaningful nostalgia!

I feel so intensely. For a while, during a frantic part of my life, I spent almost HOURS per day journaling on my blog, trying to capture every feeling, thought and laugh.

The tune you put together here is beautiful and emotional. And it feels like there's so much more to explore, too! Wonderful job and such a great theme (and source material) to build on. Thank you, this has done my soul very good tonight.

It sounds great. Really interesting and well crafted.

Wow, that's a really interesting piece! So chaotic and etherial

Great use of stereo, too

This is beautiful.

Oh such voices and sounds at the intro - beautiful but then instantly chopped, then the acceleration & fragmentation towards the end, speaks to the fragility of memory, quite beautiful

Fun "glitchy" intro.

It is very nice that you can go thru your archives, I did lost a lot of my material over the years, it is what it is. Files not organized well enough, some stuff lost when changing computers, etc...

lush! lots of cool stuff going on in here. cheers to archive digging and nostalgia. look forward to hearing more from you

wow i love this! favorited
