Recorded a fun drone with lots of filter modulation and distortion, was going to make this an ambient piece and then decided to add a beat on my Perkons. Recorded an arp on top of that and some sax to blend into the texture. Would've liked to have added a drop into another section, but instead I spent a good part of my day playing around with Touch Designer in an attempt to make some visuals. Didn't end up with something I liked yet, but hopeful that I can get it to a good point soon.

Going through a blah period where I'm altogether pretty unmotivated, but thankful to have this challenge to keep up with!

Edit: finished a weird little visualization!

This is a great track, without reading your description I wouldn't have guessed your hitting a bit of a wall with motivation.  I found this to be really inspiring and fresh, I think it was great addition to add the drums, still an ambient track but adds a little forward movement and the sax just elevates this one to the next level.

Aw, I really appreciate that! It's funny 'cause listening back to it, this is might be my favorite track I've made this year. So interesting how different our perspective can be in the moment.
