Her Majesty's Secret Sauce

By Tweaklab on September 6, 2020 12:51 pm

Officially one of my most epic tunes ever.

Inspired by the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and in particular, the Propellerheads remix from 1997.

I'm absolutely digging the guitar tone I crafted using a few things ranging from impulse responses and a radio style EQ effect to give the twang. I also snuck in a few samples from GoldenEye: Source (I'm on the dev team, I had permission, it's ok WeeklyBeats!)

Sick little 60s style breakdown at the end too. No Monty Norman's were harmed in the making of this tune.

That looped drum with the rhythm keyboard is hypnotic, very cool. The guitar tones are great. Cool orchestration.

Definitely legit epic, all the tropes are there in all their glory.

u know that HP sauce from UK is actually super good.

the hi-hats are spot on, I might want MORE reverb on the guitar, the break beat is perfect, love the acid bass rumble.

Is the alarm from GoldenEye?  Very cool!

LOOK AT THIS GUY FLEXING

Ending is great with the bongos and I love the SLOW DOWN, I might need to sample that and rap over it.
