This was a difficult one to write, both because I didn't really feel like doing much of anything but also the inspiration was hard to work through as well. **SPOILER ALERT** Sad pet story ahead.

On Thursday night our amazing cat and family member Chester unexpectedly passed away a week before his 10th birthday after suffering a heart attack. He was fit and healthy as far as anyone knew, and had been his usual playful self all week. He came inside as usual around 9PM, went to get comfortable, then got back up and collapsed. It was horrible seeing him scared and in pain for a brief period but once we realized and accepted what was happening we were able to calm him down, thank him for looking after us and our girls, and re-assured him that it was alright and that he was a good boy which got us one final purr. As painful as it is writing this, I'm grateful he came to us to say good bye and it shows that we must have meant as much to him as he did to us.

Rest in peace beautiful boy.
