Fallaway

By Tristan Louth-Robins on June 24, 2018 3:18 am

This coming month (July) I'm aiming for something a little more familiar - going for a distinctly ambient vibe via the early 80s work of Eno/Lanois. Short vingettes that feature copious helpings of synth, guitar and moodiness. Admittedly, it was a bit of a scramble to pull this one together. Hoping for a bit more time for the next week.

Instruments: Microkorg synth, electric guitar, electric bass. I sent the guitar and bass through a Moog ring mod and modulated reverb. Additional processing in Live 9.

It sounds great, a nice mellow vibe.

Great atmospheric track, well done.

Excellent atmosphere--great resonances over those ostinatos...and there's that hint of tremolo on the guitar that's really making it shimmery.  Total eternal-summer-afternoon vibe.
